External suspension system is designed to suspend goods under the fuselage, for transporting it by helicopter and subsequent discharge of cargo at the destination, as well as for construction and installation work. With the help of extension ropes, it is possible to suspend the cargo for lengths 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 65 m. The suspension with two locks will allow a quick discharge of cargo from the lower castle without the discharge of extension ropes and without involving ground staff. The opening of the lower castle is controlled by the operator from the portable remote control for the discharge of cargo through the main and duplicate channels.

The external suspension of the helicopter includes the following main elements:
