Messerschmitt Bf.109 (German.Messerschmitt Bf.109, traditional spelling for the USSR - Me-109) is a single-engine piston low-wing fighter, which was in service with the Luftwaffe and the Air Forces of various countries for almost 30 years. Depending on the modification, it was used as a day fighter. The BF109 G-6 is the most widely produced model of the BF-109. Launched into production in February 1943. In this version, the 7.92 mm MG-17 machine gun was replaced with a 13 mm MG-131 machine gun. This led to the appearance of two large blisters on the sides of the hood (the breech parts of the machine guns were located there) and a decrease in speed by 9 km/h. Initially, it was created as a universal carrier, which made it possible to quickly change the aircraft’s equipment in the field depending on the situation and combat missions. The armored backrest behind the pilot's seat had a transparent armored glass headrest, which significantly improved visibility.
