On a pedestal in the city of Tula on Proletarskaya Street, the ancestor of modern multiple launch rocket systems, Katyusha, was hoisted. That's just not a combat one - this is a full-scale copy of the BM-13. It was collected in record time - in just a month. The opening ceremony was attended by the heads of the regional center, the Proletarsky District, the defense enterprises of Tula.
This machine was assembled from scratch - a sketch was made that fully corresponded to the real dimensions of a real Katyusha, a separate BM-13 installation was created, the cab, the chassis were taken from "Gazelles", all sizes were adjusted and the car was assembled, painted and that's what we got.
