“Shishiga” is the nickname of the Soviet two-axle off-road truck GAZ-66, which was mass-produced from 1964 to 1999.
GAZ-66, which found application in the national economy, soon after its birth, rightfully received gold medals at agricultural machinery exhibitions in Moscow and Leipzig, and in 1969 it became the first Soviet car to be awarded the State Quality Mark.
