PS: The RB211 engines were first installed on a plane of 757 Boeing in 1984 and proved themselves to be all over the world as reliable turbabar engines. After certification in July 1997, these engines became part of the power plant of the Russian airliner Tu-204. RB211-535E4 were also selected by Boeing for the B-52 aircraft power installation program. A relatively small price, a large resource, a low level of noise and reliability - these are the main factors that influenced the fact that the RB211 engines were installed on the aircraft 757-300 as basic. Such a plane set a new world record, flying 40531 hours without replacing RB211 engines (engine installation was made in 1991).
