The model of the BM-13N multiple rocket launcher is equipped with a lifting and lowering system.
BM-13N — modification of the combat vehicle of the Guards rocket-propelled mortars of the “Katyusha” type. Index “H” - normalized, differed in that only American Studebaker US6 trucks, supplied to the USSR under Lend-Lease, were used as chassis. It was the most popular vehicle used for launchers of Guards rocket mortars - during 4 years of the war, out of 3374 vehicle chassis used for mounting launchers of Guards rocket mortars, US6 Studebakers accounted for 1845 - 54.7%.
