Airplane AKM-5

A new light training aircraft AKM-5 is for sale.

The AKM-5 aircraft was designed both for training purposes and for performing cross-country flights within the framework of general aviation missions.

Thanks to the GAW-II wing profile used, it has excellent stall characteristics and is not sensitive to contamination of the leading edge of the wing.

A design made of composite materials, a mid-wing design and a high wing aspect ratio were used.

The wing is single-spar, completely carbon composite. Three-layer sandwich panels are made with aramid honeycomb core. The flaps are slotted and mounted on external brackets. Ailerons with anti-flutter weight compensation.

The fuselage is made of fiberglass. Three-layer sandwich panels with aramid honeycomb core. The fuselage panels are molded integrally with the fin and wing flanges. Has integrated reinforcements to protect the crew.

The elevator and rudder have anti-flutter compensation.

Engine Rotax-912 ULS 100 hp (fuel AI-95/98/AvGas)

Chassis with a controlled pendulum nose support and rubber-plate shock absorption. Wheels (size 6’’) ensure comfortable operation on airfields and checkpoints with any surface quality.

Fuel tank capacity is 90 l.

The width of the cabin at the shoulders is 106 cm, at the elbows 116 cm.
