The Mi-2 helicopter is real, decommissioned and removed from the aviation register. During a flight on a flight simulator, all necessary sensors and control systems are used to the maximum extent for complete immersion in a real flight. A high-quality audio system, vibration sensors, and lighting are installed in a real Mi-2 helicopter pilot’s cockpit. Piloting occurs by acting on the standard control levers.
The flight image on a flight simulator can be displayed in different ways:
- projector in front of the helicopter,
- monitors built into windows,
- VR helmet.
