Designed primarily for travel companies that carry out air excursions. Therefore, in relation to the original model, the following were significantly increased: the width of the cabin, the area of glazing, sound insulation (including due to the side shielding of the rear propeller). As a result, the model has a spacious cabin with excellent external visibility and can accommodate seven tourists.
EC130 was designed, put into production and operation in close cooperation with US tour operators, primarily with the airline Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, which became the "start-up" tour operator. The EC130 was commissioned by Blue Hawaiian in 2001 and is now a regular sight at tourist destinations such as the Hawaiian Islands, the Grand Canyon and others.
