VK-1 (RD-45) - the first mass-produced Soviet turbojet engine. Produced by the Moscow plant "Salyut". Developed under the leadership of Vladimir Klimov, produced at the State Aviation Plant GAZ-116. Based on the British Rolls-Royce Nene engine, which were sold in the USSR.
