The Locator 8 Plus cryogenic storage facility is designed for safe, long-term storage at liquid nitrogen temperature of various biological samples, including stem cells, sperm, blood elements, etc., placed in cryoampoules and/or cryovials of various volumes (from 1 ml to 5 ml). Preservation of biomaterial is possible both in the phase of liquid nitrogen and in its vapor.
The cryogenic storage facility is designed to store up to 2000 samples in cryovials, with a static storage period of up to 201 days. The cryogenic storage facility holds up to 121 liters of liquid nitrogen, with a static evaporation rate of 0.6 liters per day.
The Cryostorage kit includes 8 racks for vertical placement of 10 cryoboxes for samples, with a capacity of 25 to 100 tubes each, depending on the volume of the tubes.
