GAZ-21R 1969

Auto 1969 (third series "Whalebone"). Adapted for modern use, a forced 120 hp engine, a full-flow oil purification system, an electronic ignition system, a Chaika rear axle, a gearshift lever on the steering wheel, an original clock and a radio are installed. Fuel consumption 10 l. per 100 km.

GAZ-21 "Volga" is a five-seater middle class passenger car. It is a further development of the Pobeda car. The GAZ-21 Volga car was produced by the Gorky Automobile Plant since October 1956. Part of the Volga in 1957-1958. was equipped with a hydromechanical transmission - for the first time in the history of our automotive industry. The plant produced several modifications of the Volga car: M-21 - a car with an overhead valve engine and an automatic transmission. M-21A is a taxi car with an overhead valve engine and a manual transmission. M-21V is a car with an overhead valve engine and a manual transmission (main model).
