Regimental gun 76 mm, 1927 Original.
76-mm regimental gun model 1927 (GAU index - 52-P-353) - Soviet light regimental gun of 76.2 mm caliber for direct support of infantry and cavalry with fire and wheels. It is the first large-scale model of artillery equipment created in the USSR. The gun was in serial production from 1928 to 1943 and took an active part in many pre-war armed conflicts with the participation of the USSR, as well as in the Great Patriotic War.In total, about 18,000 guns of this type were produced. Regimental guns, which were constantly in infantry combat formations and quickly suppressed enemy firing points, enjoyed love and respect from the infantrymen and their own crews; in the soldier's vocabulary they were called “regiments” or affectionately and emotionally “bobbies”.
