The BTM-3 trenching machine is designed for digging trenches and communication passages in soils of the 1st-4th categories up to 1.5 m deep, rectilinear and curved, with soil dumping into the parapet on both sides of the trench. The BTM-3 machine consists of a base machine and working equipment. To prevent breakdowns of the BTM-3 machine during the process of trenching, it is equipped with an electromagnetic safety device, a signaling device and torsion bar locks.
