The most famous long-lived airfield vehicle on board ZIL-130 trucks was the APM-90 landing light station or searchlight installation for illuminating the runways of military airfields. It was developed in the 50s and outlived the previous airborne chassis ZIS-150 and ZIL-164. It included a direction finder, a radio station, special lighting and an additional fuel tank.
