Ka-32S - ship's helicopter
Developed on the basis of the Ka-32 multipurpose helicopter. The Ka-32S was additionally equipped with a flight and navigation system for flights over non-orientated terrain, radar, instrumental ice reconnaissance equipment, emergency rescue equipment, and inflatable ballonets. It is capable of solving the same tasks as the Ka-32T, and in addition, it can conduct ice reconnaissance, service floating platforms and drilling rigs on the shelf, perform search and rescue operations and ship loading and unloading on the go.
The Ka-32 is a medium coaxial transport helicopter with two turboshaft engines and fixed landing gear.
